Determined to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning and improve on the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), the Management has re-equipped the Institute of Technology (IOT) with refurbished fabrication, Guillotine, bolts and nuts machines.
According to the Director of the Institute, Engr. Kudabo Emmanuel, the Management has also refurbished 5 modern welding robotic machines, cutting machine (plate and pipe), helmets, woodwork machine, 26 plain machines to aid students' practicals.
Other laudable projects include rewiring and re-roofing of the industrial wood workshop, repair of woodlate machine for door making, release of funds for production of 90 wooding stools for Chemistry Laboratory to be done with the use of the repaired wood work machine.
Appreciating the Management for putting all the abandoned machines back in shape, Kudabo stressed that the Institute has what it takes to compete favourably with private firms in Nigeria if more competent hands are employed to man the equipment.
He highlighted some benefits of the refurbished machines, which include improvement on IGR, adequate environment for students' practicals and ability to compete favourably with other tertiary institutions and even private organizations within and outside Kwara State.
He pledged to guard and guide the new equipment jealously, advising students of the Institute, to make use of the machines for academic excellence.
